An accomplished Australian artist, Fiona Roderick’s story actually began far from these golden shores. Born in South Wales, Roderick spent much of her youth surrounded by the natural beauty of the Welsh coastline, an environment that would shape her artistry in the years to come. After a career in corporate design, Roderick moved to Sydney in 1985 and developed a passion for printmaking.
Today, her art reflects her love of the natural world. This can be seen in her Tea Towels, Cards, Kitchen Prints and Lino Prints that showcase a unique bird series. From Kookaburras to Magpies and Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, Roderick’s artistic vision is quite astounding and quintessentially Australian.
